What songs will the Zac Brown Band play in concert?
The Zac Brown Band has nine number one country tracks at their disposal, which is almost enough to fill in a setlist unto itself. Without enough room to belt out every major tune, unexpected home runs, or the slathering of covers the band loves to bring out on every date, one of your favorite tracks will unfortunately find itself left off the setlist. But with so much material left to choose from, missing that major single favorite may not be so bad.

Despite all this, a few standards appear at every show. The band closes their initial set before the encore with their breakthrough single and the song that put them on the map: “Chicken Fried.” The Spanish flavored tune “Toes” appears often, though it may be very early in the set, or following a larger ballad number, such as “Goodbye in her Eyes.”

The group is known for their rather unconventional set closing with a pairing of covers including Led Zeppelin’s blues rock epic “Kashmir” and the monstrously pumping hard rock adventure, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” from the Charlie Daniels Band. They work brilliantly together at wrapping up the evening and making for an intriguing choice compared to signing off courtesy of a big single from the band.

The aforementioned covers are a bit more common, but in recent sets the group has belted out a country rendition of “Enter Sandman” from Metallica. The Zac Brown Band likes to name drop some great covers including Billy Joel’s narrative masterpiece “Piano Man” or Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic.”

You may not hear every above mentioned cover song, but the group reliably belts out 2-3 at every show.

The Zac Brown band has this incredible crossover appeal that brings in more than the traditional country band and the persona they carry. Younger crowds really embrace the group, for they have a strong pop sound that works in a typical radio format.
